U.S.-Islamic World Forum Concludes Monday 15th 2010 The 7th edition of the U.S.-Islamic World Forum concluded in Doha on Monday evening . The event was attended by an outstanding elite of politicians , intellectuals, and specialized experts from the two sides who gathered in the qatari capital to discuss a wide range of political, economic , technological , cultural , developmental and environmental topics of mutual concern. The two sides also discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and the islamic region in general and inside the United States of America itself. Assistant Foreign Minister For Follow Up Affairs H.E. Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi who is also head of the conferences''permanent committee said in his closing session address that the 8th edition of the forum would be held in washington. |

Remarks With Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani After Their Meeting PRIME MINISTER SHEIKH HAMAD BIN JASSIM AL THANI (Via translator) In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful, in the name of God we welcome Secretary of State of the United States, Ms. Hillary Clinton. She has met in a long meeting with His Highness, the Emir, and this was a very positive meeting to consult and discuss issues of mutual interest for both countries, and also regional interests as well as all the region nearby.
Of course, we discussed important issues such as Iraq, Yemen, Somalia, the Palestinian cause, and the issue with Iran. And I think that the meeting was useful and important for both sides. |

H.E. Premier Inaugurates U.S.-Islamic World Forum on Saturday 13 February, 2010 H.E. Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani inaugurated on Satuday evening the seventh edition of U.S.-Islamic World Forum . H.E. Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim asserted that such an edition of the three-day forum will accord special attention on discussing features of the next stage of relations between the United States and the Islamic World noting that the targeted outcomes are to shift to the stage of recommendations concerning the practical policies that should be implemented. Over the past years, the participants had discussed the multifaceted u.s. relations with the muslim world states and peoples at a time tension has overshadowed such relations because of the lack of the correct and right policies.( |
