H.E the Premier opens the US-Islamic World Forum
The Premier
and Foreign Minister H.E Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani on Saturday night the US -Islamic World Forum at
the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
The opening session was attended by their Excellencies the heads of mission
accredited to Qatar and State guests of the Forum. |

the US - Islamic World Forum this year was being held in the backdrop of many positive developments.
DIRECTOR of Saban Center at Brookings Institute, Martyin Indyk, yesterday said that the US - Islamic World Forum
this year was being held in the backdrop of many positive developments.
First, he said, the result of the
forthcoming elections in the US which can bring about a change in the US policies towards the Middle East region and
secondly, a favourable change in the Bush administration’s attitude towards solving the Palestinian dispute.
He said that the Bush administration, after seven years of resistance, is currently involved in attempts to
reach a peace treaty between the Palestinians and Israel before the end of this year.
