THE Doha International Centre for Inter-faith Dialogue was inaugurated yesterday on the sidelines of the 6th Doha Conference of Inter-Faith Dialogue.
The chairman of the National Council for Culture, Art and Heritage, HE Sheikh Mishal bin Jassim al-Thani, said he hoped the centre would serve as a bridge between Islam, Christianity and Judaism and a place for constructive dialogue, tolerance and peaceful co-existence.
He said a consultative committee representing the three religions was formed. It would supervise the activities of the centre and also launch a website in Arabic and English.
